SOMOCAP at JEC World 2026

Three intense days at the heart of the global composites ecosystem. This latest edition of JEC World in Paris was an opportunity for SOMOCAP to meet many players in the industry, discuss technological developments and share our expertise on multi-material solutions.

Present alongside the Synercomp cluster, we had the pleasure of representing a complete value chain around composites with Epsilon Composite, GDP Composites, CMP Composites, NOBRAK and TENSYL.

Together, we presented complementary expertise covering :

  • composites engineering
  • cutting and embroidering fabrics
  • technologies for overmoulding composites
  • thermocompression, pultrusion and filament winding
    as well as the recycling of industrial waste.

One of the subjects that particularly caught the attention of visitors was 𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒎𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒅𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒔.
This technology consists of combining a composite material with a thermoplastic or elastomer directly during the moulding process, in order to integrate additional functions: sealing, protection, fixing or assembly.
This reduces the number of parts, simplifies assembly and improves product performance, while remaining compatible with industrial mass production.
